The Story of Tue
Tue is 62-year old woman and an animal rescuer at heart. She has been rescuing animals since she was a teenager during the war in Vietnam, in the refugee camp in the Philippines and for 30 years in the in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
By the end of the month (March 31, 2010) she is losing her home and becoming homeless along with all her animals that she is currently taking care of. If you would like to help Tue you can follow this link and chip in at myhappycat.chipin.com/tue-nguyen. The goal amount is the money she has to come up with by the end of the month (March 31, 2010).
But this is only a temporary solution. We need to find the following for Tue:
- someone who is willing to adopt some of Tue’s cats,
- a Home,
- a Job.
Update: The landlord informed Tue that she has to be out by the weekend which means March 28, 2010. We would be grateful for any help.
Update: We could push the moving date to March 30, 2010. Right now the landlord is harassing Tue to get out as quickly as possible although she has not even received a written notice which informs her 30 days in advance.
Update: A generous donor covered Tue’s rent so that she could stay in her house until the end of the month of April. We are still looking for people who are willing to adopt some of Tue’s cats. We are also still searching for a job for Tue, everything from overnight stocker to housekeeping and elderly care.

Update: The reason why we have not put up the video yet is because Tue decided to not go forward with it and to withdraw herself completely from the internet. I am really sorry about this decision.
